Mechanical Fitter with Disconnect/ Reconnect

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a busy manufacturing environment across sites in Revesby and Marrickville.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanically minded tradesperson looking for ongoing casual work with the flexibility to work across both day and afternoon shifts.

About the Role

You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and fault finding across a busy production environment. The role will require you to work safely and efficiently while supporting the ongoing operation and maintenance of plant and equipment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a qualified or experienced Mechanical Fitter.
• MUST hold Disconnect/Reconnect capability.
• Have experience with mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Be confident with fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Be comfortable working across both Revesby and Marrickville.
• Have the flexibility to work day and afternoon shifts.
• Have a strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Have good communication and problem-solving skills.
• be available to work across day and afternoon shift
