Civils Senior Crew Leader/Cable Layer

Cable Layers Australia is a medium size Civil Construction business located in Cockburn Central. We operate as a tier 2 business, specialising in excavation and directional drilling services to the public sector. 

We are seeking a Civils Senior Crew Leader to join the team to drive and deliver a varying size underground power projects throughout the metropolitan area. 

Local knowledge of directional drilling technology, underground services, power utility materials, installation and safety standards are a must.  

The successful applicant must also be able to provide positive communication, working within small teams of ground staff and subcontractors, and delivering on the client and key stakeholder's expectations. 

Plant and equipment operations, HR licence, cable laying and associated accreditations and experience installing underground power infrastructure with a keen safety focus are key deliverables for this role.   

The Application MUST have the following -

• Positive culture driven outlook, and good communication skills

• Extensive Industry knowledge in directional drilling, underground and overhead power construction

• Compliance and safety driven

• Must have a current HR driver’s licence (manual)

• Must present with a professional and friendly image with the ability to adapt to different situations.
