As an Employment Development Consultant at MS Queensland, you'll connect local job seekers with inclusive employers, creating opportunities that change lives and strengthen the Townsville community.

• Full-time, on-site role based in Townsville | Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
• We offer SCHADS Level 3 ($40.49 - $43.42 per hour commensurate with experience) + super + salary packaging for this role.

In this role, you will:

•          Develop personalised, strengths-based plans that help people achieve their employment goals.
•          Work closely with clinicians to provide coordinated, holistic support.
•          Coach clients in resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace confidence.
•          Build strong relationships with local employers and connect clients with suitable opportunities and supports.
•         Support clients through every stage of their employment journey, from job search to placement and ongoing success including:

• Work preparation and goal setting
• Job searching and application support
• Employer engagement and business development
• Reverse marketing job seekers to employers
• Employment placement support
• Post placement support

• A genuine commitment to inclusive employment and helping people achieve their goals.
• Experience in employment services, disability support, community services, or transferable skills from recruitment, customer service, sales, coaching, education, case management, or similar roles.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• A keen interest in understanding and supporting people with disability (training provided).
• Confidence working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Good digital skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
