ABOUT THE POSITION

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional manner? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Food Services Assistant (FSA) at RetireAustralia on a casual basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering excellent service to the residents and visitors of our Tarragal Glen Manor Retirement Village. Your primary responsibility will include serving meals and drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, and ensuring adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service by taking, preparing, and serving meal and drink orders
• Assisting in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
• Completing daily shift cleaning tasks, including clearing tables, cleaning and storing dishes and cutlery
• Being flexible and willing to perform any duties as requested by the Village Manager

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Current Food Handling Certificate
• National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
• First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
