Senior QA Tester – Digital & MobileLTM Australia | Digital Engineering
LTM Australia is looking for experienced QA Testers to support a major digital transformation program involving customer-facing mobile applications.We’re looking for QA professionals who are strong in functional and scenario-based testing, with the ability to understand business requirements, develop user stories, think through real-world user behavior and identify edge cases not simply execute pre-written test scripts.
Experience within the Australian superannuation industry is highly preferred.
What you’ll be doingAnalyse user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test casesUnderstand expected user behaviour and translate business requirements into effective testing approachesIdentify edge cases, validation boundaries, negative scenarios and potential failure pointsDevelop and manage test data to support functional and end-to-end testingExecute functional, integration, regression and system testingIdentify, document and manage defects through to resolutionWork closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners and other stakeholdersValidate that applications meet both functional requirements and expected customer outcomesSupport test planning, execution and reporting across Agile delivery cyclesContribute to improving overall QA processes, standards and quality practices
What we’re looking forStrong commercial experience in QA / Software TestingProven ability to create test cases from user stories and business requirementsStrong understanding of functional testing methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to think beyond the "happy path" and identify edge cases and unusual user scenariosExperience generating and managing test dataStrong defect identification, documentation and triage skillsExperience working within Agile / Scrum delivery environmentsStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and business teams
Highly desirableExperience within Australian SuperannuationExperience testing customer-facing digital or mobile applicationsExperience with API testingExperience with automation and test scriptingExperience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Postman, Selenium or similar
