ABOUT THE ROLE

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone with strong organisational and communication skills. You will love taking initiative on projects, working at a fast pace and you have impeccable attention to detail. Very importantly, you enjoy being a team player and have exceptional interpersonal and time management skills.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Coordinating and maintaining equipment control of Chep and Loscam pallets

• Pallet reconciliations

• Transfer of pallets to other Mainfreight sites for deliveries via a logistics system

• Managing nil recovery of pallets and IOUS

• Resolving pallet rejections, discrepancies and ensuring accuracy

• Ensuring pallet systems are up to date and managed weekly

• Monitor pallet accuracy of outbound consignments

• Educate team members regarding pallet processes and procedures

• Liaise with customers & drivers

• Issues and Dehires

• Data entry of pallet dockets

• Filing of pallet paperwork

Successful applicants will ideally have substantial experience in pallet controlling, a solid grounding within a high-volume distribution environment, be self-motivated, goal oriented, reliable and willing to play their part in the successful operation of a large and growing business. Prior experience in the Transport industry will be highly regarded.
