About the role
The Senior Research Fellow - Human Factors leads and contributes to research activities within the Clinical Skills Development Service (CSDS), supporting the advancement of healthcare education, simulation, and clinical skills training. Working closely with the Manager, Research, the role is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality research projects, producing scholarly publications, securing research funding, and contributing to the growth of research capacity across the service.
The successful candidate will lead research studies from design through to dissemination, including ethics submissions, data collection, analysis, reporting, and publication. They will also provide specialist research training and supervision to students and emerging researchers, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to innovative, interprofessional research initiatives that improve healthcare education and patient outcomes.
