About the role
Bibra Lake, Perth WA (Initially based at our Maddington workshop)
Australian Cylinder Services (ACS) repairs, manufactures and services hydraulic cylinders and precision-engineered components for customers across the mining, construction, agriculture, civil, transport and industrial sectors.
We're looking for an experienced Parts & Inventory Manager to take ownership of our parts, purchasing and inventory function.
This is more than a traditional parts role. As ACS continues to grow, we're progressing plans to relocate our operations to a larger facility. You'll work closely with management to help establish our new parts and inventory operation, contributing to the planning and implementation of the inventory component of the move while managing the day-to-day operation of our parts department.
Interpret Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and other OEM parts.
Manage purchasing and supplier relationships.
Allocate and prepare parts for workshop jobs.
Pick and kit parts for repair and manufacturing work.
Maintain inventory accuracy and stock control.
Receive, inspect and manage incoming goods.
Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Excel.
Assist with implementing the inventory and warehouse component of our relocation.
Identify opportunities to improve inventory systems and processes.
You'll have:
Experience in Parts Interpretation, Parts Management or Inventory Management.
Strong knowledge of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi parts.
Purchasing and inventory control experience.
Experience in heavy equipment, engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and ERP systems.
A practical, organised and proactive approach with the ability to take ownership.
