Quality Assurance Controller

About the role

Proway is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Controller to oversee quality control processes in all of our supply chain areas starting with manufacturing. The key responsibilities of the role are to ensure compliance with company standards, customers' expectations and drive continuous improvement in quality across operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product and service excellence, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting operational efficiency through effective quality management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality assurance procedures across all supply chain activities.
• Conduct quality inspections, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Investigate quality-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, review, and update quality control documentation, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Analyse quality performance data and prepare reports for management.
• Collaborate with operational teams to improve processes, reduce defects, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor quality performance where applicable.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence throughout the organisation.

About you

• Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Compliance, or related role.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
• Experience within an ISO environment and audit processes is highly desirable.
• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Quality Management, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Internal Auditor qualification or quality-related certifications would be advantageous.
