Storeperson - Chef's Hat

Chef's Hat is a family-owned hospitality supplier. Everything that passes through our warehouse ends up in a real kitchen. a new restaurant fitout, a café upgrading its coffee setup, or someone at home falling in love with cooking. We're looking for a reliable Storeperson to keep that stock moving accurately and on time.

This is a hands-on warehouse role in a close-knit team, working Monday to Friday. If you take pride in a tidy, well-run store, you'll fit in here.

Key Responsibilities

•     Receive and check incoming stock against purchase orders

•     Pick, pack and prepare goods for transfer between our warehouses

•     Keep stock accurately allocated and the warehouse clean, tidy and safe

•     Complete stock transfer sheets and related paperwork accurately

•     Report breakages or damaged stock and assist with stocktakes

•     Support the wider team and provide quality service to customers and staff

About you

•     Current forklift licence

•     Experience in a warehouse, storeperson or similar role

•     Organised, with the ability to prioritise and work to a routine

•     Good communicator who works well in a team and follows procedures

•     Comfortable with basic computer work - stock systems, Word and Excel

•     Happy on your feet, lifting, bending and moving stock throughout the day

An interest in hospitality, commercial kitchen equipment or cooking is a real bonus - but if you're reliable, safety-conscious and take pride in your work, we'll teach you the product.
