Experienced Architect

MCG Architects is a well-established West Australian regional practice based in Bunbury, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the South West since 1998. Our portfolio includes a broad range of work from residential and commercial developments to significant State Government and Local Authority projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and capable Architect to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects from Schematic Design through to Contract Documentation, within a supportive and collaborative studio environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time Bunbury-based position, Mon-Fri in office, commencing as soon as possible. You will be involved in delivering a variety of commercial and government projects, taking responsibility for documentation, coordination, and contributing to high-quality design outcomes. The role suits someone who is organised, independent, and confident working independently across multiple project stages.

What We’re Looking For

·         Min 5 years’ experience in a similar architectural role

·         Strong contract documentation experience

·         High proficiency in Revit (essential) and AutoCAD

·         Experience working on commercial projects

·         Experience with Department of Housing and Works projects is advantageous

·         Solid understanding of WA planning requirements

·         Thorough knowledge of the BCA and AS1428.1

·         Strong construction knowledge

·         Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

·         Good communication and teamwork skills
