Strategic Projects Implementation Lead

Ausdocs Group is a leading, doctor-owned, primary health care group operating general medical practices throughout Queensland and New South Wales.

Purpose of the Role

This role is a newly created position with the primary purpose of assisting the COO in the implementation of strategic projects and initiatives across the Practices within the Group.

The successful applicant will be is responsible for implementing new initiatives that improve patient outcomes, strengthen practice performance and advance the strategic vision of the Ausdocs Group. Acting as the bridge between ideas and execution, this role leads projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring innovative opportunities are translated into practical, scalable and sustainable outcomes across the network.

Your Skills

The position requires a willingness to test new approaches, measure results, gather feedback and adapt quickly when a project does not deliver the intended benefits.

A key component of the role is stakeholder engagement. The Strategic Projects Implementation Lead will work with doctors, practice managers, nurses, administrative teams, alliance partners and leadership to build understanding, secure buy-in and champion change throughout the organisation. They facilitate communication across all levels of the business, ensuring that new initiatives align with the Ausdocs vision while maintaining the unique culture and strengths of each practice.

The role is highly hands-on and involves designing and documenting systems and workflows, coordinating pilot programs, evaluating operational performance and reviewing the patient experience to ensure initiatives deliver genuine value to both patients and clinicians. Working alongside the marketing team, you will also help develop communication strategies, patient engagement campaigns and launch plans to support successful adoption of new services and programs.

Ultimately, this person serves as a catalyst for growth and continuous improvement, helping Ausdocs remain innovative, agile and responsive while pursuing its ambition of becoming Australia's leading doctor-owned healthcare group.

Qualifications / Experience

The following skills would be a strong weighting but not essential in the role:

Experience in Primary Health Care

• Experience with Best Practice Practice Management Software
• Experience with Cubiko practice software

Prior experience in Project Management and Implementation

• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive multiple initiatives.
• Prior experience and understanding of multi-site practice networks or health corporates.
• Project coordination or systems integration experience.
