OzCar is one of Australia's largest and most innovative used vehicle retailers. We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our professional workshop team at our Lansvale dealership on a full-time basis.

Duties

• Maintain, service, diagnose, test and repair petrol vehicles and mechanical components.

• Diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, steering, suspension and braking systems.

• Remove, dismantle, inspect and repair engines, transmissions and other mechanical assemblies.

• Replace worn or defective components and reassemble vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.

• Use diagnostic scan tools and specialised equipment to identify and rectify faults.

• Test and adjust repaired mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient performance.

• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify repairs required to achieve roadworthy standards.

• Maintain accurate service records and comply with workplace health and safety procedures.

• Work collaboratively with workshop staff to ensure high quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent recognised qualification).

• At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic.

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Current Australian Driver Licence (or ability to obtain one).
