Experienced Line Pump Operator or 30m Boom Pump Operator

Strongline Concrete Pumping is seeking an experienced concrete line pump operator or 30m boom pump operator to join our Canberra-based team, working across Canberra and the surrounding regions.

This is a hands-on role with early starts, consistent work and plenty of hours available. We’re looking for someone who knows the job, takes pride in their equipment and understands that strong relationships with concreters and clients are an important part of being a good operator.

About the role

You will be experienced, and can:

• Safely and efficiently operate a concrete line pump or 30m boom pump

• Set up, operate and pack down pumping equipment on site

• Clean and maintain the pump/truck, hoses and associated equipment

• Complete routine pre-start inspections and mechanical checks

• Identify and report maintenance or mechanical issues early

• Follow site safety requirements and safe operating procedures

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism on site

About you

You’ll be experienced, reliable and mechanically minded, with the initiative to see what needs doing and get it done.

You will:

• Have proven experience operating a concrete line pump or boom pump

• Be reliable, punctual and comfortable with early starts

• Take pride in keeping your truck and equipment clean and well maintained

• Build and maintain good relationships with concreters and regular clients

• Be practical, proactive and able to solve problems on site

• Work well independently and as part of a crew

• Hold a current White Card, high risk and appropriate site cards/appropriate driver’s licence

• Have a strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
