About the role
The Leaders
Reporting to an experienced Associate Director within the Employee Relations function, you'll work closely with an accomplished Director who leads Employment Risk and a highly capable national People & Culture leadership team. The leadership style is collaborative, pragmatic and supportive, with a strong focus on empowering experienced professionals to exercise sound judgement, build trusted relationships and manage matters autonomously.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to become the senior Employee Relations specialist within a growing national team, taking ownership of the organisation's most complex and sensitive workplace matters while providing expert guidance across the broader People & Culture function.
Key responsibilities include:
You bring strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and relevant workplace frameworks, together with exceptional written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. You are comfortable engaging with senior executives, internal legal teams and a broad range of stakeholders, and can provide practical, balanced advice while maintaining objectivity and procedural fairness.
A legal background or previous experience as an Employment Lawyer will be highly regarded, although it is not essential. Experience gained within professional services, government, healthcare, financial services or another highly regulated environment will also be viewed favourably.
The Process
Successful candidates will be contacted for an initial confidential discussion with Levyl before progressing to a two-stage interview process with our client. Please apply today or contact Antony Jones on 0448 198 *** or ******@levyl.com.au with any confidential queries.
Levyl encourages diverse, equitable and inclusive recruitment and is committed to responding to every applicant. We make selection and shortlist decisions based on your skills, experience, personal attributes and motivators. When applying for one of our advertisements, please tell us the pronouns you use and any reasonable adjustments you may require throughout the interview process.
