About the role

Our Building Manager role is primarily focused on the proactive management of multi-unit properties to maintain operational continuity, ensure compliance and upkeep of common areas. 

The role includes coordination of daily maintenance activities alongside the implementation of improvement initiatives, to achieve organisational performance metrics.  The role also is rostered on call after hours to manage property emergencies. 

What we are looking for

We're looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience in building management, facilities coordination, or property maintenance. 
• Strong understanding of building systems, trades, and maintenance procedures. 
• Experience with compliance requirements and statutory servicing obligations. 
• Familiarity with work order systems or property management software. 
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills. 
• Collaborative approach with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to influence and engage with people at different levels of an organisation.
• Ability to show initiative and work autonomously, with a high level of enthusiasm, resilience and positivity
