We're looking for like-minded trades to join the team. In return, we offer a company vehicle and phone (including for personal use), above-award hourly rates based on experience, and all tools, uniform, and PPE provided.

What you'll do

• Deliver day-to-day second fix carpentry and general building maintenance with repairs to doors, trims, hardware, ceilings and FF&E. Patching and painting, installation and alteration of cabinets and cupboards.  

• Complete preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works and emergency repairs across multiple facilities.

• Prioritise and manage work orders to meet required timeframes and service standards.

• Maintain a safe, compliant and hazard-free workplace while collaborating with other trades (within and external to Delkam), stakeholders, and clients.

What You'll Bring

For Qualified Trades:

• Trade qualification

• White Card (essential)

• Ideally 5+ years' experience in second fix carpentry/building maintenance

• Strong understanding of WHS and building regulations

For Trades Assistants:

• Relevant experience in construction or maintenance (preferred)

• White Card (essential)

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

For All Applicants:

• National Police Clearance

• Working With Children Check

• Unrestricted driver's licence

• Experience using hand and power tools

• EWP yellow card or high-risk work card (preferred)

• Reliable, organised, and customer-focused

• Strong communication skills (including reading and writing)
