Business Development Manager - Healthcare

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with medical practices, and promoting Medilinked Australia's comprehensive service offerings. Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth across GP clinics, specialist practices, and allied health centres.
• Identify prospective partners and build long-term client relationships.
• Present Medilinked Australia's solutions to practice owners, managers, and healthcare stakeholders.
• Understand client needs and tailor service offerings accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
• Monitor industry trends to identify emerging opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to organizational growth.

About you

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the medical sector, preferably within a GP, specialist, or healthcare services environment.
• Working knowledge of major clinical and practice management software, including Medical Director and Best Practice.
• Familiarity with partner applications such as HotDoc, HealthEngine, or similar.
• Strong understanding of medical centre administrative tasks, including appointment management, billing and invoicing, Medicare processes and workflows, and reception and practice coordination.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
• Commercial mindset with a strong customer-centric approach.
