Join a dedicated and highly skilled Social Work Department at Royal North Shore Hospital in this temporary full-time role until February 2027 within our Women, Family and Emergency Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated social worker to make a meaningful difference for women, children and families while delivering high quality, patient-centred care in a collaborative hospital environment

What you'll be doing
The Women, Family & Emergency Care (WFEC) Social Work team provides a service to a wide range of clinical areas within Royal North Shore Hospital including, but not limited to; Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Maternity Ward, Birthing Unit, Antenatal Clinic (inc. Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, Day Assessment Unit, Maternal-Fetal Medicine Unit), Child & Adolescent Ward, Child & Adolescent Short Stay Ward, Surgical Short Stay Unit & Emergency Department (Adult & Paediatric). We provide a high-quality Social Work service to consumers, carers and families to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes consistent with NSLHD policies, procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
