The Role

We’re currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and at least one full year of nursing experience.

The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.

Our Location

Silverwater Correctional Complex is located 21km west of Sydney's central business district. The complex houses the:

Silverwater Women's Correctional Centre a maximum security institution for women and the major reception centre for female offenders in NSW.Metropolitan Remand & Reception Centre (MRRC) a maximum security correctional facility for men
