About the role
About the role
You'll take responsibility for delivering compliant, high-quality solar and battery installations while leading and developing the apprentices and roofers working alongside you. You'll be supported by an organised office and operations team responsible for preparing jobs, coordinating materials and maintaining clear installation schedules.
Key responsibilities
Residential and commercial solar PV installations
Grid-connected battery storage systems
Hybrid inverter installations and system upgrades
Backup and essential-load circuits
Switchboard and protection upgrades
Testing, commissioning and fault-finding
Compliance documentation and installation handover
Leading apprentices and solar roofers on site
Maintaining strong safety and workmanship standards
Communicating professionally with customers and the operations team
About you
Hold current SAA grid connected PV accreditation
Hold current SAA battery storage accreditation
Have strong hands-on solar and battery installation experience
Can confidently lead an installation crew
Understand Australian Standards and compliance requirements
Produce neat, safe and well-documented installations
Are calm, organised and solutions-focused on site
Communicate well with customers, apprentices and office staff
Current unrestricted NSW electrical licence
Construction White Card
