We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Maintenance Manager to join the team at the Mangrove Hotel.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance function across the hotel, ensuring all buildings, plant, equipment, rooms, public areas, grounds and back of house areas are maintained to a safe, compliant and professional standard.

esponsibilities - Working knowledge of building maintenance across a broad range of skill sets
- Ensure guest rooms, public areas, outlets, back of house areas, gardens, pool areas and external spaces are maintained to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate records for safety checks, servicing, inspections, repairs and contractor works.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with WHS requirements, hotel policies and relevant legislation.
- Support compliance across fire systems, electrical, plumbing, pools, air conditioning, plant rooms, equipment and essential services.
- Manage stock, tools, parts and maintenance supplies to ensure the department operates efficiently.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control and quote comparison for repairs, equipment and projects.
- Be available for urgent maintenance issues, including after-hours call outs when required.
Qualifications & experience - Experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Previous managerial experience with strong leadership skills
- Any relevant trade certification that may assist with fulfilling the role
- A great attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
