Centre Director - Long Day Care and Kindergarten
Permanent Full-Time | 38 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced early childhood leader looking for your next opportunity? St Cecilia's Long Day Care and Kindergarten is seeking a passionate Centre Director to lead our welcoming 49-place boutique service in the heart of Hamilton. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a centre where children, families and educators are known, valued and supported.
Set within a beautiful home-like environment featuring high ceilings, timber floors and French doors, our centre offers well-resourced learning spaces, expansive outdoor play areas, a mud kitchen, vegetable garden and fresh meals prepared daily by our on-site cook. We are proud of our strong community connections, including our partnership with Hamilton State School and established kindergarten transition program.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational programManage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasksProvide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environmentWork collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificationsCurrent Child Protection TrainingWillingness to undertake the role of Nominated SupervisorSound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG)Previous experience managing an early childhood education and care serviceStrong leadership, team development and relationship-building skillsProficiency in computer systems and childcare management software (Xplor experience highly regarded)
