Production End of Line Operator (Forklift) (Permanent Position)

EGR is one of Queensland’s largest manufacturing operations, with its headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Brisbane. Employing more than 700 staff worldwide, EGR is a market leader in product design and manufacturing, supplying innovative products to both Australian and international automotive markets.

We are seeking End of Line forklift operators for our Plastic Extrusion Manufacturing Division. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering an immediate start.

Tasks will include:

• Working within an advanced manufacturing environment;

• Pre-assembly & packaging of products

• Use of basic hand/power tools; and

• Machine Operating

To be successful you must have the following;

• Availability to work a continuous three-week rotating shift roster:

  • Day shift: 6:00 am–2:00 pm

  • Afternoon shift: 2:00 pm–10:00 pm

  • Night shift: 10:00 pm–6:00 am

• Able to work full time hours + overtime as required

• Current Forklift Licence is essential

• Physically fit (able to lift 25kgs)

• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.

• Own Car and license (must have reliable transport)

• Full working rights within Australia

The hourly rate for this position is $34.26 per hour, plus:

• 15% afternoon shift loading

• 20% night shift loading
