As a Pavement Engineer, you’ll bring your technical expertise to the design and delivery of durable, high-performing pavement solutions across multi-disciplinary transport projects.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring pavement systems are safe, cost-effective and built to last - while collaborating with a team that values technical excellence and innovation.

What You’ll Do

You’ll contribute across the full project lifecycle, supporting design, review and delivery activities:

Review pavement materials, mix designs and maintain concrete mix registersDesign and assess flexible and rigid pavement systemsPrepare technical reports and engineering drawingsUndertake desktop reviews to ensure compliance with quality systems and client requirementsCollaborate across disciplines on major infrastructure projectsSupport proposal preparation, including cost inputs and technical contributionsApply relevant standards, regulations and best practice methodologiesSupport safe design principles and contribute to project risk identificationAssist in delivering high-quality outcomes that improve client satisfaction

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a motivated Pavement Engineer with strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset:

~5+ years’ experience in pavement engineeringExperience in flexible and rigid pavement design and technical reportingExposure to geotechnical engineering (desirable)Strong technical writing and communication skillsAbility to manage workloads across multiple projects and prioritiesAttention to detail and commitment to quality outcomesAbility to work independently while contributing to team successA proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) Working towards Chartered Engineer status
