About the Role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Cook to lead our centre kitchen, working Monday to Friday, 7:00am–1:00pm (30 hours per week). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early finishes and a consistent weekday schedule. As our occupancy grows, there is potential for additional hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Planning and preparing seasonal, nutritious menus that cater to children of all dietary needs, including allergies and intolerances (gluten, dairy, etc.)

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment

• Ordering supplies and managing stock efficiently

• Keeping clear and accurate records in line with food safety regulations

• Being a valued part of a close-knit, supportive team that puts children first

What You’ll Need

• Available for a minimum of 30 hours per week, between 7:00am and 1:00pm (student visa holders will not be considered)

• Experience in childcare, aged care cooking or similar - essential

• Food Safety Supervisor certification - desirable

• Commercial Cookery qualification - desirable

• Current WA Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)

• Permanent working rights in Australia
