MR Truck Driver – Portaloo Delivery & Pickup

Poles and Holes is a long-established, family-owned Brisbane business operating since 1960. We install temporary and permanent power poles and provide portable toilet hire throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas.

We are looking for a reliable MR truck driver to deliver and collect portable toilets from residential and commercial building sites.

This role initially involves delivery and pickup only—portable toilet servicing is not required.

About the role

Your duties will include:

• Delivering and collecting portable toilets
• Safely loading, securing and unloading units
• Positioning the truck on residential and commercial sites
• Completing delivery paperwork and following daily schedules
• Communicating professionally with builders, customers and office staff
• Keeping the truck clean and reporting maintenance or safety issues
• Assisting with general depot duties when required

The position is casual initially, with regular full-time hours and the opportunity to move into permanent full-time employment for the right person.

Pay and conditions

• Starting rate of $40 per hour plus superannuation
• Increase to $45 per hour following a successful performance review
• Overtime and applicable penalty rates
• Regular Monday-to-Friday work
• Some early starts may be required
• Stable work with a well-established local business

About you

You will need:

• A current Australian MR or higher truck licence
• Safe and confident truck-driving skills
• A good driving history
• The ability to safely reverse and position a truck on building sites
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors
• A reliable, punctual and practical approach
• Good communication skills
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Valid Australian work rights

Previous delivery, construction, hire-equipment or building-site experience would be helpful but is not essential. Training in our delivery procedures and equipment will be provided.
