About the role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Tailor to join our team at Atelier Alterations, located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to suit your schedule.

As part of our team, you will provide high-quality alterations and tailoring services, primarily focused on men’s suiting.

What you’ll be doing

• Performing a wide range of alterations, including hemming, taking in/letting out, shortening/lengthening, and more

• Working with precision to achieve the best possible fit and finish

• Using industrial and standard sewing machines confidently

• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

• Supporting the team to deliver excellent service and uphold our reputation

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Tailor or Dressmaker

• Strong technical skills in garment alterations and construction

• Experience working with men’s suiting (highly regarded)

• Ability to work across different garment types (men’s, women’s, etc.)

• High attention to detail and quality workmanship

• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
