Azora is a fast growing non-bank lender specialising in commercial asset finance, consumer car loans and home loans. We are seeking a commercially-minded Team Leader - Consumer Credit to lead our Consumer Car Loans Credit team.

Your Responsibilities | How you will make a difference

• Oversee the consumer car loans credit team

• Ensure all applications are assessed in an efficient and commercial manner

• Ensure responsible credit decisions are made in accordance with policy

• Act as first referral point for exceptions from Underwriters. 

• Contribute to policy and process development

• Provide feedback and scenario support to brokers and sales team

• Attend Broker PD days and conduct broker visits as and when required with the Sales team

• Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulations such as the NCCP Act, Privacy Act and AML/CTF Act

Your Skills & Experience | A little bit about you… 

• 5+ years experience in consumer credit

• 3+ years leadership experience

• Must hold a current DLA of at least $50k

• Working knowledge of NCCP Act and AML/CTF Act

• A ‘can do’ and proactive approach to your work

• An eye for detail

• Collaborative and teamwork essential!

• Customer service skills

• Commercial thinking

• Time management and organisation skills

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Punctual and reliable
