Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and engineer Balance of Plant (BoP) electrical systems.Work on LV/MV/HV switchgear, transformers, generator feeders, DC systems, grounding and auxiliary power systems.Prepare SLDs, cable sizing, protection settings, technical specifications and engineering documentation.Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards (AS/NZS).Review engineering designs and documentation from suppliers and subcontractors.Provide technical support during procurement, installation and commissioning.Resolve site technical queries and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate As-Built documentation.Review and approve technical and commissioning documents.
Key SkillsDegree in Electrical or Power Engineering.10+ years of experience in power plants, industrial electrical systems or heavy infrastructure.Strong experience with LV/MV/HV systems, switchgear and transformers.Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS).NER registration with Engineers Australia.Experience with AutoCAD/CAE and ETAP.Experience with BIM/3D design and Revizto is desirable.Hydropower project experience is highly desirable.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
