Automotive Electrician

About the role

As our Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and reinstating vehicle electrical systems following accident damage.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical faults
• Removing and refitting electrical components during the repair process
• Reinstating wiring, sensors, lighting, safety systems and electronic components
• Carrying out pre- and post-repair electrical checks
• Using diagnostic scan tools to identify faults
• Working closely with panel beaters, spray painters and estimators to ensure vehicles are repaired correctly
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

About you

• Relevant Automotive Electrical qualification and experience
• Previous experience in smash repair/body repair is highly regarded
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience with modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems
• A good eye for detail and pride in quality workmanship
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A reliable, positive and professional attitude
• A current Australian driver's licence
