We're looking for a talented Content Specialist to join our Content & SEO Squad and help shape the digital experiences of millions of Australians across Medibank, ahm and Amplar Health. This role will focus on transforming existing briefs into engaging, compliant, and high-performing content across a range of health, wellbeing, and product-related topics.

This 12 month fixed term opportunity is ideal for a skilled digital content professional who loves creating engaging, customer-focused content and is passionate about delivering high-quality digital experiences. You'll play a key role in producing, optimising and publishing content across a range of customer journeys, including health and wellbeing articles, guidance on using health cover, travel, pet-related content, and occasional product-focused pieces.

We offer true flexibility here at Medibank, with no mandated office attendance days. Whether you work best from home, the office, or a mix of both, you'll have the autonomy to choose the environment that helps you thrive. Full-time is preferred, however part-time arrangements of 3 to 4 days per week will also be considered.

What you'll be doing

As the squad's primary content production specialist, you'll create and manage digital content that is engaging, accessible, compliant and optimised for performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing, editing and publishing content across Medibank, ahm and Amplar Health websites
• Creating customer-focused content across health and wellbeing, product, service and acquisition journeys
• Applying SEO best practice, including keyword integration, metadata, internal linking and content optimisation
• Managing end-to-end publishing workflows, content updates and quality assurance processes
• Ensuring content meets accessibility standards, regulatory requirements and brand guidelines
• Collaborating with SEO specialists, content strategists, legal, clinical and brand stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Monitoring content performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement and organic search performance
• Supporting experimentation and innovation through AI-assisted content creation and emerging content production workflows
• Trialling AI-supported workflows to improve content production processes. This role will play an integral part in testing and adopting these new ways of working, with AI supporting briefing, approvals, and workflow efficiency

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who combines excellent writing and editing skills with strong digital content production experience.

You'll ideally have:

• Around 3+ years' experience in digital content production, content marketing, copywriting or web publishing
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience working within a CMS, ideally Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Knowledge of SEO content best practices and how content contributes to organic growth (experience with Semrush would be a bonus)
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders, projects and competing priorities
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement
• Experience working in regulated industries such as health, insurance or financial services will be highly regarded
• Interest in AI content tools and emerging digital content technologies
