The Position 

An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Warehouse Store Person to join our team in the new year. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in warehouse operations and must hold a valid forklift license. You will be working within a collaborative team environment from Monday to Friday.

This is a role that provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and hard working individual, who is energetic and reliable; a person who is aware of risk management and abides by all WH&S Policies and Procedures.

The duties of this role will include but are not limited to: -

• Picking and packing sales orders

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move goods safely within the warehouse

• Dispatching stock with the required loading of trucks and containers

• Remove inventory from trucks or shipping containers, count, and put away in the proper location.

• Stocking shelves

• Internal transfers to other branches

• Cycle counts

• Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.

• Other duties as required

• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

• Booking freight

Desirable Criteria: -

• Customer service skills

• Good written and oral skills

• Has a good knowledge of measurements and can add/subtract

• Basic computer knowledge

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Has a strong work ethic

• Be able to work reasonable overtime if required including Saturdays

The ideal candidate will have: -

• A current forklift license with a photo ID (must have)

• Safety awareness and team attitude

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• A passion to learn and develop

 To be successful, you will need to have an up-to-date forklift license
