Western Sydney International - Airport Manager

Western Sydney International Airport is Australia's first new major international airport in more than 50 years. As passenger operations prepare to commence, we're looking for an exceptional Airport Manager to lead operations and help shape the future from day one.

About the Role

As Airport Manager, you'll lead our above and below wing operations at Western Sydney International Airport, overseeing ground handling services. This role is about more than just managing safe operations, it's about leading, coaching and mentoring people.

You'll build a positive team culture, develop future leaders, strengthen relationships with airline partners and ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of Star Aviation's above and below wing operations.
• Inspire, coach and develop a high-performing team while fostering a positive, values-driven culture.
• Champion a Safety-First mindset and ensure compliance with all operational and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver outstanding operational performance and exceptional service for our airline partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airline customers, airport stakeholders and service providers.
• Effectively manage workforce planning, operational resources, budgets and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency and team capability through coaching and training.
• Lead operational performance, problem-solving and change initiatives to achieve safety, service and financial outcomes.
