Operations Coordinator - Road Transport

We’re currently seeking a QLD Road Transport Maintenance Coordinator to join our expanding QLD operations team.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Road Transport and leadership. You'll take the reins of a high-performing team of Heavy Road Transport Mechanics operating in throughout QLD.

In this role, you’ll be backed by experienced coordinators and a skilled admin support team. Key responsibilities include:

• Monday to Friday | 6am - 4pm | Flexible Travel

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee a team of Road Transport Mechanics across QLD

• Collaborate with other teams to align labour resources with customer needs and breakdown support

• Oversee team performance, provide motivation, and recognise achievements.

• Support recruitment, from interviewing and offer negotiation to onboarding new team members

• Conduct regular site travel for client engagement and team performance/safety checks
  

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Desirable)

• Previous experience working in a similar role or as a workshop/service supervisor/ Transport Allocator

• Previous experience within the Road Transport Maintenance industry in QLD

• Excellent organisational skills and intermediate computer literacy skills
