Company Description Soccerscene is dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and growing the Football (soccer) industry in Australia. We recognise that football news has captured the attention of grassroots soccer clubs, apparel and equipment suppliers, and extends to governing bodies, club administrators, and industry decision makers. Our mission includes supporting the growth of the football industry both in Australia and globally, a passion that we share and aim to express through our work.
Role Description This is an internship role for a Journalist. The intern will be responsible for writing news articles, press releases, and other content related to the soccer industry. Tasks will also include conducting research and participating in broadcasting activities. This is a hybrid role located in Richmond, VIC, with some flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications Experience in Writing and News WritingAbility to create Press ReleasesStrong Research skillsKnowledge or experience in BroadcastingPassion for Football and the Football industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCurrently pursuing or having a degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related fieldAbility to work both independently and in a team environment
