About the role
Workshop & Field Service Opportunities Available
We're seeking experienced, hands-on tradespeople to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of shipping containers, portable buildings and mobile storage solutions based in Braybrook, Victoria.
If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems and taking pride in quality workmanship, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering long-term career prospects.
We're looking for candidates from fabrication, welding, manufacturing, container repair, heavy industry, mechanical fitting or industrial maintenance backgrounds.
Whether you prefer working in a busy workshop or out on customer sites, we have an opportunity to suit your skills.
Workshop Container Repairer
Working within our established workshop, you'll be responsible for repairing, refurbishing and modifying shipping containers and portable buildings to the highest standard.
Duties Include:
Container repairs and refurbishmentsWelding, fabrication and modification workGrinding, sanding and finishingPreparing and painting metal surfacesDecal removal and replacementOperating hand and power toolsGeneral workshop dutiesForklift operation (advantageous)
Mobile Service Technician
If you enjoy variety and working independently, our Mobile Service Technician role offers the opportunity to visit customer sites throughout Melbourne carrying out inspections, maintenance and repair work.
You'll work with Tier 1 clients across commercial and industrial sites while representing a respected national business.
A fully maintained company vehicle is supplied for work use, with workshop work available when site work is quieter.
Duties Include:
Conduct on-site inspectionsAssess repair requirements and report findingsPerform welding, fabrication and repairsCarry out maintenance and refurbishment workAssist with installations and demobilisationsBuild strong customer relationshipsDeliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety standards
About You
To be successful you'll ideally have experience in one or more of the following:
FabricationWeldingManufacturingContainer repairsMechanical fittingIndustrial maintenanceHeavy industry
You'll also possess:
Experience using hand and power toolsA strong work ethic and positive attitudeExcellent attention to detailAbility to work autonomously and within a teamPride in producing quality workmanshipCurrent Australian Driver's Licence (essential for Mobile Service role)Construction White Card (required for Mobile Service role)LF Forklift Licence (advantageous)
