About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality function through delivery on Sydney projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Development and implementation of project quality management systems across the delivery lifecycle, including: 

• Developing and maintaining the Project Quality Management Plan aligned to ISO 9001:2015 and client requirements

• Preparing and reviewing ITPs, checklists, and hold/witness point regimes

• Managing the NCR process — raising, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, close-out

• Planning and conducting internal, subcontractor and supplier audits; supporting external audit and surveillance

• Reviewing subcontractor quality documentation and monitoring compliance on site

• Overseeing lot management, as-built records, handover documentation and the lifecycle data set

• Reporting quality performance, trends and risks to project leadership and the client

• Coaching delivery teams and driving a practical, non-bureaucratic quality culture

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Science or related

• 5+ years in quality management on major civil, structural or building projects

• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant AS/NZS standards; lead auditor certification highly regarded

• Experience building quality systems, not just administering them

• Confident engaging with clients, subcontractors and site teams, and comfortable holding the line

• Ability to satisfy client onboarding, induction and background check requirements
