Medical Receptionist

About the role

Join our team as a part-time Medical Receptionist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, while efficiently managing administrative duties to support the smooth running of the medical practice. The Medical Receptionist position is a crucial part of our healthcare team, and we are looking for an organized and personable individual to join us.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

• Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling telephone inquiries

• Assisting with the administration of the medical practice

• Ensuring the reception area is well-organized and presentable at all times

• Collaborating with the clinical team to provide a seamless patient experience

• Handling confidential information with the utmost care and discretion

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role

• 15-20 hours over 2-3 shifts may include an evening

• Someone who has definate Monday availability. Please include your availability in your COVER LETTER

• Someone who can work 1-2 weekend shifts per month

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner

• Proficiency in using medical practice management software and basic computer skills

• A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

• A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with the medical staff
