About the role

We are seeking an experienced AGrade Electrician to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This is a key position within our organisation, where you will take on a mentoring role whilst continuing to deliver high-quality electrical work across a diverse range of projects. As an AGrade Electrician, you will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence, overseeing installations, and supporting apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high-quality electrical installation, maintenance and repair work on commercial and industrial projects

• Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian electrical standards, building codes and safety regulations

• Manage project timelines and coordinate with clients and other tradespeople to ensure successful project completion

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and implement appropriate solutions

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of work completed, materials used and project progress

• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all health and safety protocols on site

What we're looking for

• Current and valid electrical licence to work as a qualified electrician in Victoria

• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical work, with demonstrated expertise in installation, maintenance and repair work

• Experience in HVAC mechanical electrical and or BMS control works is an advantage.

• Valid driver's licence, A Grade qualified electrical licence, open cablers registration (optional), construction card willingness to travel to various job sites across Melbourne

• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards, including the National Electrical Code (AS/NZS 3000) and relevant building regulations

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues and other professionals

• Reliable, professional attitude with a strong commitment to health and safety practices

• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable
