Wet Plant Operator

Scotford Fennessy is partnering with a leading mining operation in the Pilbara to source experienced Wet Plant Operators. We’re seeking safety-focused operators with proven mineral processing experience across grinding, flotation, filtration, thickening, and associated wet plant circuits to support ongoing production at a large-scale operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate and monitor wet plant processing circuits to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production.
• Monitor and control thickeners, filtration systems, wet screening, grinding, flotation, and HPGR circuits.
• Conduct routine plant inspections and identify process, equipment, or safety issues.
• Perform sampling and record operational data in line with site procedures.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and work with the team to maintain plant performance.
• Assist with shutdowns, isolations, and maintenance activities as required.
• Complete housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report equipment defects, hazards, and operational issues promptly.
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in wet plant processing operations.
• Demonstrated experience working with thickeners, belt filtration systems, wet screening, grinding circuits, flotation circuits, and HPGR (High Pressure Grinding Rolls).
• Strong understanding of plant operations, process monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining high operational standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive site culture.

Highly Regarded

• Experience in lithium, gold, nickel, copper, or iron ore processing operations.
• Exposure to control room operations.
• Loader, excavator, forklift, EWP, or other mobile plant tickets.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications.
