Description

Novigi is changing how we think and work with AI. This role takes the AI adoption strategy off the page and into real teams by coordinating delivery, sustaining programme rhythm, supporting the AI Champions network, amplifying what is learnt, and keeping the programme moving in a practical, visible and evidence-led way.

Responsibilities:

1. Programme Delivery and Mobilisation

• Hold delivery of the AI enablement plan end to end, including what is committed, what has landed, and what has stalled.
• Take initiatives from agreement through to operating, without a handover in the middle.
• Mobilise activity with the capability currently available rather than waiting for the full team to be in place.
• Maintain a working view of dependencies, blockers and decisions required and resolve locally whatever can be resolved locally.

2. AI Champions Network

• Stand up a network of 20 or more AI Champions spanning Novigi’s job families and archetypes, in partnership with People and Culture.
• Onboard champions, run the forum that keeps them connected, and support their experimentation, feedback and peer coaching.
• Coordinate expressions of interest to fill gaps in coverage across teams and locations.
• Sustain momentum over time, including noticing early where a champion has gone quiet and re-engaging them directly.

3. Adoption Rituals and Operating Rhythm

• Embed the fortnightly team rhythm and the monthly department sessions as standing habits rather than launched initiatives.
• Build the leader packs, prompts and worked examples that make the rituals runnable by leaders without central support.
• Ensure that what surfaces in the rituals is captured and routed onward rather than lost in the room.
• Ensure lessons learnt and things that did not work receive the same billing as wins, because that is what keeps the rituals honest and worth attending.

4. Harvest and Amplification

• Attend the coaching sessions, workshops and Genius Bar clinics run by the AI Adoption Coaches, and capture what came out of them.
• Identify what will transfer to teams that were not in the room, as distinct from what was interesting on the day.
• Work with the Content and Communications Specialist to turn those lessons into short, shareable assets, so that something learnt once is learnt firm-wide.
• Build a repeatable harvest process rather than treating each session as a one-off.

5. Communications, Content and People Leadership

• Lead the Content and Communications Specialist, setting direction, standards and priorities.
• Own the programme’s voice and its visibility across the firm, including micro-learnings, demonstrations, use case stories, and the internal channels they run through.
• Hold the quality bar on everything published under the programme’s name, including judgement on when AI-assisted content needs further human work before release.
• Coordinate the programme’s presence across Novigi’s internal channels and pages.

6. Measurement, Evidence and Reporting

• Own the operation of the AI fluency baseline assessment, including completion across the firm and the reporting that comes out of it.
• Build and maintain the programme dashboards and be clear about which measures are meaningful and which are not.
• Prepare executive updates and briefing material with the Head of AI Adoption & Enablement.
• Resist activity metrics that describe effort rather than change, including where they are requested by senior stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A demonstrated record of personally delivering initiatives end to end, rather than coordinating others to deliver them.
• Ability to get outcomes from people who do not report to the role, through relationships and consistent follow-through rather than escalation.
• Strong synthesis and editorial judgement: able to leave a session with the few things worth sharing and shape them for an audience that was not there.
• Credibility with senior stakeholders, including negotiating champion time with EGMs and putting evidence in front of the executive.
• Daily working use of AI in the role holder’s own work, and a willingness to learn in public alongside everyone else, including where it does not go well.
• Sound judgement in genuine ambiguity: makes and acts on reversible decisions, and escalates irreversible ones early.
• Ability to develop a direct report and set the standard for the work they produce.
• Useful Adjacent Skills
• Prior experience standing up a champions, ambassador or practitioner community network.
• Internal communications, content production or short-form video experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Copilot, Claude or comparable AI tooling.
• Experience building agents, automations or workflows. Genuinely valuable, and not a requirement.
• Reporting and dashboarding experience, including Power BI or comparable tooling.
• Exposure to financial services, superannuation or wealth management.
• Willingness to grow into these areas over the first 12 to 18 months; absence at hire is acceptable, but indifference to developing them is not.
