About the role
We are seeking a Senior Workshop Technician - Fabrication to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice.
The Senior Workshop Technician – Workshops and Fabrication provides highly specialised technical expertise and support for fabrication activities that underpin the Faculty’s teaching, research and creative practice programs. Working closely with academic staff, researchers, professional staff and students, the role delivers technical instruction, fabrication services and workshop support across a range of equipment, technologies and processes, while ensuring safe, effective and sustainable workshop operations. The position also contributes to the continuous improvement of technical services, supports complex creative and research projects, and assists in maintaining high-quality learning environments that enhance the student experience.
