The Service Technician is responsible for performing routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, water testing, chemical balancing, and equipment checks. Daily tasks include diagnosing and repairing pool equipment issues, such as pumps, filters, chlorinators, and heaters, and documenting work performed. The role involves traveling to customer locations, providing field service, and communicating clearly with customers about service needs, safety considerations, and recommended solutions. The Service Technician works both independently and as part of a team to ensure pools are safe, functional, and maintained to company standards.Qualifications Strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for pool systems, equipment, and general upkeep.Proficient Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and water quality issues.Experience in Field Service, including on-site work at customer locations and managing service schedules.Effective Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, provide professional support, and build customer trust.Basic understanding of water chemistry and safe handling of pool chemicals.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.Previous experience in pool service, plumbing, electrical, or similar trade is beneficial.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
