About the opportunity

Thought Science Psychology Clinic is a warm, well-supported private practice on Sydney's North Shore, and we're looking for a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our team as an independent contractor. This is a genuine opportunity to run your own practice your way, with the backing of a supportive clinical team, while we take care of everything behind the scenes.

You bring the clinical expertise; we handle the rest.

What we offer

• Per-session rates from $156 to $208, depending on session type and registration level

• Full reception and administrative support, including all Medicare billing

The work

• Providing evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment to your clients

• Developing individualised treatment plans and reviewing progress over time

• Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with professional and Medicare requirements

• Preparing correspondence to GPs and referrers as part of coordinated client care

• Practising in accordance with AHPRA and the Psychology Board of Australia's standards

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist

• Your own ABN and professional indemnity insurance

• Sound knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches

• Warm, client-centred and collaborative, with genuine care for good outcomes

• Able to work independently while being a positive part of a small team
