Production Supervisor (Townsville)

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our Townsville team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead the production team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing outcomes while achieving production targets and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with food manufacturing experience and a passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What Your Day Looks Like:

• Lead and support the production team to ensure safe, efficient operations and minimise waste.
• Drive operational performance and achieve production targets in line with business objectives.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE, quality, and team engagement.
• Coordinate daily with planning, warehouse, and production teams to ensure materials and schedules are aligned.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, quality, and WHS requirements.
• Manage production orders, maintain stock integrity, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Support team development through training, coaching, and maintaining training records.
• Lead and communicate site changes, procedures, and work instructions effectively.
• Participate in daily operational meetings and collaborate across departments.
• Monitor performance and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Support site initiatives and strategic objectives by providing clear direction and leadership to the team.

• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or Leading Hand role within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar environment.
• Previous food manufacturing or food industry experience (essential)
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities.
• Strong understanding of food safety, quality systems, GMP, HACCP, and WHS practices.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.’
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
• A Valid Australian Forklift Licence (highly essential)
• Ability to work afternoon and night shifts as required.
• Flexible approach to work, including occasional weekend support when required.
