What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for keeping our buses looking and operating at their best. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Bus body repairs, panel replacement, and straightening
• Minor fabrication work in steel. 
• Unscheduled accident repairs and maintenance.
• Annual licensing pre-inspection for Transperth vehicles. 
• Working safely and following company policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as per the positions JDF.

What we're looking for:

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and wants to build a long-term career with Swan Transit. 

You'll need:

• A relevant trade qualification and proven industry experience.
• A current C class drivers licence or higher (MR or HR desirable but not essential). 
• A proactive, team-focused attitude. .
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
• Good communication skills 
• The ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment.
• The ability to meet pre-employment requirements, including a medical assessment and National Police Clearance.
