Customer Research Operations Officer

About the role:

Support and enable the Customer Research team to provide valuable customer research and insights
enabling better decision making across the business. The key focus of the role is to support this
team by managing all team administration and document control processes, as well as supporting the
team's procurement and financial processes, which will contribute to the successful operation of the Customer
Research team.

This role will assist the team in providing a consistent and evidence-based view of customer needs and
expectations by:

* Working with and supporting the Customer Research team to select the most appropriate research and
software partners for our diverse research needs.
* Supporting the end-to-end procurement process including assisting to scope and evaluate RFIs and/or RFPs,
writing procurement strategies, creating and maintaining contracts.
* Working with various teams around the department to enable successful contract management eg Procurement,
Finance and Legal.
* Assistance with managing the Customer Research budget.
* Liaising with suppliers regarding any contract/PO or invoicing queries or requirements.
* Management of all research related documentation.
* Management of the SWIM and Customer & Strategic Insights (CSI) IConnect information pages.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (such as business, procurement, project management) or experience deemed equivalent
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience with MS office software, including MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Sharepoint.
• Basic experience with Ariba/SAP Finance.
• Knowledge of procurement and supplier management.
• A strong team player with proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across business units and divisions
• Understanding of procurement techniques.
• Demonstrated verbal communication skills and good problem solving and liaison skills.
• Ability to support and prioritise projects and work to tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience in the provision of customer service.
• Great attention to detail.
