Project Officer - Innovation

We are currently seeking a motivated and innovative individual to appoint to a Project Officer position within the Innovation Hub. In this role, the successful applicant will support the delivery of innovation initiatives across EMHS by coordinating innovation activities, assisting in the design and implementation of innovation projects, engaging with external stakeholders to build partnerships with EMHS innovators, planning and delivering innovation events, facilitating innovation workshops, and working closely with EMHS staff to promote and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Suitability Criteria

• Good verbal and presentation skills to facilitate Innovation Hub events and activities
• Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills including the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good written communication skills including highly developed report writing, correspondence and documentation skills.
• Experience in project management and sound knowledge of project management principles and techniques.

The East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 828,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.
