About the Year 10 Coordinator 
As Year 10 Coordinator, you will provide leadership across student wellbeing, academic progress, subject selection, pathway planning and the Year 10 experience. Working closely with Heads of House, teachers, families and Senior School leaders, you will ensure students are challenged, supported and well prepared for the transition into Years 11 and 12.

You will play a key role in:

• Leading and continually enhancing the Year 10 program.
• Supporting student wellbeing, engagement and academic success.
• Guiding subject selection and Stage 1 SACE pathway planning.
• Coordinating key Year 10 initiatives, including transition programs and WestQuest.
• Building strong partnerships with students, families and colleagues.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to foster a consistent and supportive learning environment.
• Contributing to the strategic and pastoral leadership of the Senior School.

About You:

You are an exceptional educator with a genuine passion for adolescent development and student success. You bring proven leadership experience, strong organisational skills and the ability to build positive relationships across a school community.

Key Selection Criteria: Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with Teachers Registration Board of South Australia
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated experience as an effective leader of teachers
• Exemplary classroom practitioner with a proven record of student outcomes
• High level of ICT skills, knowledge and incorporation into classroom practice
• Regular and up to date professional knowledge and learning
• Experience in a complex and diverse independent coeducational environment is desirable
  
• A passion for supporting young people through a critical stage of their educational journey.
• Experience in change management is desirable
